Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actor best famous for her character Margo as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy fantasy-drama series that aired from 2015 until the present. Summer Bishil gained fame for her role as a character in Towelhead playing Jasira Marroun an American-Lebanese teenager aged 13 who's thrown into chaos by the U.S. military invasion of Iraq. The subsequent recognition as one of Variety's Top 10 Actors of 2007 also came as a huge honor. The actress also had a dramatic character in 2009's crime thriller Crossing Over. For this, she received a nomination to win an Independent Spirit Award under the category of Best Female Leading. The actress also appeared as a co-lead and in films like The Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and a number of television guest roles.
